This Privacy Policy explains how Adorn AI collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use our website, apps, and related services.

Adorn AI lets you upload photos, generate hairstyle previews with AI, and access your saved results across devices when you are signed in. We designed the service so your generated files stay private by default unless you actively choose to share them.

Information We Collect

We collect the information you provide directly, the content you upload, and limited technical data needed to run the service securely.

• Account details such as your name, email address, sign-in method, and subscription or billing status.
• Photos, prompts, hairstyle preferences, and generated images you upload or create inside Adorn AI.
• Usage information such as pages visited, actions taken, feature usage, and rough device or browser details.
• Support communications and any feedback, survey responses, or reports you send us.

How We Use Information

• To provide the hairstyle try-on experience, generate previews, and save your history.
• To store your uploaded and generated photos so you can retrieve them after signing in on another device.
• To maintain security, prevent abuse, troubleshoot issues, and enforce our terms.
• To improve product performance, understand feature usage, and develop new tools.
• To communicate with you about account activity, purchases, updates, and support requests.

Private by Default, Shared by Choice

Your uploaded photos and generated results are treated as private account content by default. We store them so your library is available whenever you sign in to your account on another device.

If you choose to share a generated image or post it to a public community area, that content becomes visible to other users and may be upvoted or otherwise interacted with. Once content has been shared publicly, copies, previews, or cached versions may persist for a limited time even after removal.

How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal photos or generated images. We share information only in limited situations needed to run the service or comply with the law.

• With Google LLC via the Google Gemini API, solely to generate hairstyle previews from photos you submit. Your photo is transmitted securely over HTTPS and is not used by Adorn AI for advertising, identity verification, or model training. Google's handling of API inputs is governed by the Google Cloud Data Processing Addendum and Google's AI Prohibited Use Policy.
• With other service providers that host infrastructure, process payments, support authentication, moderate abuse, or provide analytics on our behalf.
• With other users only when you intentionally publish or share content publicly.
• If required to comply with applicable law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and security.
• As part of a merger, financing, acquisition, or asset sale, subject to standard confidentiality and transition protections.

Photo & AI Processing

When you use the hairstyle try-on feature, the photo you provide is sent to Google Gemini, a generative AI image service operated by Google LLC, to produce your visual result. No facial landmarks, biometric identifiers, or measurements are extracted or stored by Adorn AI — the photo is used solely to generate the hairstyle preview you requested.

Adorn AI does not use your photos for any purpose other than generating the requested preview. We do not use your photos to train our own AI models.

Your original photo and generated results are stored privately in your account on AWS S3 servers and are retained for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual generations or close your account at any time to remove associated photos.

Face Data

The hairstyle try-on feature requires a photo that includes a clear view of your face. Here is how Adorn AI handles face data in full:

• What we collect and what we do NOT retain: Adorn AI does not extract, generate, derive, or store facial geometry, facial landmarks, biometric face templates, face prints, or any other face-specific identifiers from your photo. The photo is transmitted as a whole image for the sole purpose of generating a hairstyle preview — no face data in the biometric or identifier sense is retained by Adorn AI at any time.
• Why we store your photo: We store the original photo you uploaded so you can retrieve your generated results across devices when signed in. This is the only reason we retain the photo. We do not use it for identity verification, facial recognition, advertising, or AI model training.
• How long your photo is stored and why: Your photo is stored for as long as your account remains active, or until you delete it — whichever comes first. We retain it for this duration so your library is available whenever you return to the app. You can delete individual photos at any time from within the app, or close your account to permanently remove all associated data.
• Third parties we share your photo with and why: Your photo is shared exclusively with Google LLC via the Google Gemini API, solely to generate the hairstyle preview you requested. No other third party receives your photo for face-related or any other purpose.
• Whether Google stores face data: Google processes your photo through its Gemini API. According to Google's Cloud Data Processing Addendum and its Generative AI Prohibited Use Policy, Google does not use customer data submitted via the API to train its generative models, and does not retain API inputs beyond what is needed to fulfill the API request. Retention and Deletion

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain your account, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations, and protect the platform from fraud or misuse.

If you delete content or close your account, we will remove or de-identify eligible information within a reasonable period, except where retention is required for security, legal, accounting, or backup purposes.

Cookies, Analytics, and Similar Technologies

We use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, understand product usage, and measure service performance.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect personal information. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's Privacy

Adorn AI is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us so we can investigate and remove it where appropriate.
